Microsoft Multiplan Registration Form

The Leading Edge branded Microsoft Multiplan package came with several items within the software pack. One such item was the user registration form, not for a warranty, but for non−disclosure and agreement to utilize the software on only one computer. This legal document would have been unusual to have been included with the software pack intended for end−user consumers. The document likely was intended for use by dealers who were installing pre−bundled software onto Leading Edge computers that they were selling.

The document bore several hallmarks that indicated it was indeed for use by dealers. The form included fields to be completed by the distributer and dealer with an "end−user" field area where ownership was to be transferred. The dealer and distributer would input the information and have the end−user sign off on the transference at the dealer's store. The dealer would then have mailed the registration form back the Leading Edge Products, INC.
