In the early 1990s, Leading Edge offered a lineup of three VGA monitors, all of which were covered in a comprehensive manual creatively titled VGA Monitors Manual (Color and Monochrome). This manual covered technical specifications, user setup, adjustment requirements, and very light exterior user servicing. The three monitor models covered by the VGA Monitors manual included: CMC−1412A, CMC‐141M, and CM−1402S.

The VGA Monitors manual contained an exhaustive table for each subject that the manual touched on. Specifications detailed a litany of technical dimensions, screen resolution, power draw, and operating frequencies for all three monitors, just to name a few. Further on in the manual, subjects covered included: preinstallation information, such as how and where best to locate a monitor and installation instructions for each monitor, including equipping stands that they may have come packaged with in the box.

There was also a short troubleshooting guide that attempted to rule−out the simplest technical issues such as a loose VGA or power cable, but ultimately more complex issues ended up recommending packing up the monitor and sending it in for service since the manual was not a service manual but a general owner's manual.
