General Electric / Leading Edge Consumer Channel Warranty Certificate document functioned as a warranty registration and customer service guide for Leading Edge computer owners, outlining the available support options and warranty terms. Customers were instructed to register their computers within five days of purchase and were provided with contact numbers for technical assistance. The warranty included three months of complimentary telephone support and one year of repair coverage, either through on−site service or carry−in repair, depending on the product type and customer location.

Leading Edge desktop computers included a 12−month on−site warranty, during which a technician would visit the customer's location to perform necessary repairs or replacements. This service was available to consumers within 50 miles of a G.E. Computer Service center; those beyond that range received a carry−in warranty instead. Portable computers, on the other hand, were covered by a 12−month carry−in warranty only, requiring customers to transport or ship their devices to an authorized service center for repair and also cover transport costs.

Both desktop and portable models received three months of telephone support, ensuring users had initial access to troubleshooting and assistance. However, only desktop systems were eligible for optional paid on−site warranty extensions after the first year. Together, these terms highlight Leading Edge's commitment to offering flexible service options suited to the differing needs of stationary and portable computer owners.
